Home of the metaTappingTM syllabus - next generation EFTi-Accredited EFT Tapping Courses
We are excited to announce the birth of our new “next generation” EFT Tapping training metaTapping!
After running EFT trainings several times a year since 2007 we have learned a LOT. We have received many hundreds of amazing testimonials and awarded many EFT practitioners their certifications. It has truly been an amazing journey and we have appreciated everyone who has joined us. And we want to take a step up and make it even better!!
Over this time we have found the original syllabus, as specified by Gary Craig (although refined over time by EFT International (EFTi), and the number of hours it is delivered in, increasingly restrictive with big drawbacks Other training organisations are also using variants of this original syllabus. We describe the issues we have found below, and then follow this with our plans about how we are intending to overcome them.
The Drawbacks of the Historic Training Format and Syllabus
The drawbacks as we see them:
Addressing These Drawbacks - Welcome to metaTapping.
To address all of these, we are creating a new course from the ground up using our enhanced metaTapping syllabus.
“meta” has various meanings such as “above” or “information about”. We wanted to take a step above all the protocols and information and different syllabi about this powerful EFT Tapping technique and create a cohesive course that brings it together. Over the last 15 years of using and training in this method (which isn’t hugely longer than it has existed) we have learned much about using it in practice and we want to integrate lots of subtle knowledge into the training in a more tangible way.
From 2019, this new course is going to take over entirely from the previous 4-day EFTi Level 1 and Level 2 EFT training format. There will be 8 mandatory live training days (4 x 2 days) with optional practice days tagged on the end to get immediate practice with the protocols learned.
With metaTapping we are going deeper and wider into EFT. There will be more practice, more techniques. More focus on how and when to apply them. How to achieve greater efficiency in working with people. And much much more. It is structured into 4 levels (metaTapping Level 1 to metaTapping Level 4) and is suitable for those who want to use it for self-care and those who want to be able to become a certified practitioner.
metaTapping Includes Everything That Was There Before…
metaTapping includes the EFTi syllabus and the optional EFTi Accredited Certified Practitioner qualification within it, but is bigger than it – also leading optionally to a metaTapping Practitioner Certification.
The Brand New Well-Being Scale
We have added a very important new scale – the WBS (Well-Being Scale) which is an integration of a modified Abraham Hicks’ Emotional Guidance Scale and Silvia Hartmann’s fundamentally important -10 to +10 SUE scale which takes us well beyond the zero point “peaceful and light” into higher levels of experience such as joy, happiness and other highly positive states.
We make use of this new scale in many ways in the training and in the application of EFT.
The WBS gives a backdrop of possibility when we consider our general Well-Being state. We are so used to being just “comfortable” we don’t realise we are selling ourselves short. In this way it gives an objective viewpoint on our potential which is great for cultivating self-responsibility and opening up new enlightened avenues in our lives. For practitioners, the WBS therefore gives clients motivation to continue working with you when they see so much more upside potential.
In terms of application of EFT, the WBS is invaluable as a progress-measure. For example we can tune into a past event and measure how we feel on the WBS. As we continue to heal and evolve the experience, the WBS shows us clearly how we are doing. We want to take our relationship with it beyond just “comfortable” to the point where we feel really liberated.
As another example, we can tune into an area of life such as “relationships” and report back what level we are at on the WBS. This gives an instant measure of the level of health of that area of life.
There are many other ways we use this WBS as you will discover in the training.
Making it Easier to Complete Course Requirements
The previous course format meant that after attending EFTi Level 2 training you now needed to go ahead and complete the certification requirements - include 50 practice sessions. This has been very overwhelming for some and resulted in them giving up the process. We have made this process easier and much more step-by-step. Between each of the training levels we give clear assignments. By completing these, the protocols taught at the previous level are practiced, with a chance to get support immediately if there are any issues, and the assignment results count towards the practice sessions.
The benefit of this approach also is that you practice the simpler techniques and get comfortable with them before moving forwards in bringing new and more advanced protocols into your repertoire.
Creating a Certification People can Trust
As mentioned near the top of this article, there are many EFT Practitioner training options around , all of which lead to an “EFT Practitioner” qualification. Unfortunately although some are thorough, others give a certification without any experience in the field or any proof of ability. So we wanted to create a qualification that people can trust - just by seeing the qualification.
In order to do this we have trademarked the name metaTappingTM. This means if anyone says they are a metaTapping EFT Practitioner you can be sure they have fulfilled a minimum quality of training and also have a minimum level of experience applying the technique with people. At the same time we wanted to retain the quality AAMET EFT practitioner certification. So we decided to make metaTapping a dual qualification and by completing the requirements you can become both an EFTi-certified EFT Practitioner and a metaTapping EFT Practitioner.
The Future - Master Diploma
Beyond the above, in the next 12-18 months we are intending to add additional levels to take individuals to metaTapping Advanced Practitioner status (and integrate EFTi Level 3) and then even further to include other important modules (e.g. “Detective Work”, “Law of Attraction”, “Family Constellations” and Psycho-kinesiology”).
Bringing these all together we are intending in time to create a Diploma in EFT (the metaTapping Master Diploma in EFT Tapping). This will help create true EFT Tapping Master practitioners (in name and function!) and set you up as the EFT becomes more widely accepted in the mainstream.
We hope you can join us on this exciting journey ahead.
